Key Account Manager

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university

Role Summary

  1. Leading business activities to key accounts, negotiations and maintaining a seamless connection with various departments
  2. Ensuring a detailed approach i.e. call frequency and hypermarket/ supermarket trading terms are in place following guidelines from the National Key Account Manager
  3. Supporting the National Key Account Manager in defining route-to-market strategy, i.e. central distribution, and clarifying channel requirements
  4. Managing team members with clear and defined goals
  5. Providing insights around the channel account to Brand Managers, to help them develop brand activations and campaigns
  6. Active input in cycle planning, to ensure channel activities are appropriately represented

Principal accountabilities of the role

  1. 5-7 years’ experience as Key Account Manager in FMCG
  2. Experience in developing and maintaining relationship with clients, external suppliers and commercial partners
  3. Proven track record in selling
  4. Influential negotiation skills
  5. Effective communication and presentation skills
