Role Summary

  1. Ensuring that our products, services and product lines resonate with current and potential customers
  2. Continuously monitor marketing trends and keep a close eye on competitive products in the marketplace
  3. Developing, implementing and executing marketing initiatives and activities for a brand, including print, web, social media and broadcast campaigns
  4. In charge of managing and developing P&L and driving market growth
  5. Researching consumer markets, monitoring market trends and identifying potential areas in which to invest, based upon consumer needs and spending habits
  6. Looking at the pricing of products and analysing the potential profitability
  7. Supervising the sign-off of marketing literature and campaigns, liaising with legal and compliance personnel, ensuring the designs and messages meet the company brand and regulatory guidelines
  8. Monitoring product distribution and consumer reactions through focus groups and market research
  9. Coordinating the launch programme for consumers as well as employees
  10. Brand plan development: Developing a plan that achieves company targets. This will include, but will not be limited to, advertising, activations/promotions, and research. You should also be able to work collaboratively with agencies/vendors and internal resources to drive superior market results
  11. Programme management and execution: Managing the day-to-day logistics of the brand programmes and owning timeline management, budget, and programme analysis
  12. New product development: Utilising consumer-driven insights to drive long-term growth of the brands; translating insights into profitable product innovations and developing a unique selling proposition and sufficient launch support plans to retail
  13. Market analysis: Providing consumption-based data analysis for the brand, insights and support to the enterprise to better understand market trends and dynamics, and identifying opportunities in markets where there are unmet needs
  14. Business Forecasting/Results: Working with sales, demand planning, and contract vendors to generate accurate volume forecasts and delivering results for the brand-level, with a P&L focus on net sales and brand contribution

  3. Ability to think creatively and innovatively, with proficiency in budget management
  4. Professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field
  5. Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
  6. Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
  7. Being intuitive about future product concepts
  8. Ability to work well with a wide range of people from different parts of the business
  9. Organised and methodical, you will work well under pressure and have good presentation skills
